Georgetown traffic stop leads to impaired charge for Halton Hills man

A 24-year-old man has been charged with impaired following a local traffic stop early Friday morning.

Halton Police say around 3:40 a.m. Oct. 11, officers pulled a vehicle over in the area of Stockman Crescent and Delrex Boulevard in Georgetown. 

As a result of its investigation, police charged the Halton Hills resident with blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
