Mid-morning traffic stop leads to impaired charge for Halton Hills man

A Halton Hills man is facing an impaired driving charge following a morning traffic stop in Georgetown.

Halton Police say officers pulled the vehicle over in the area of Guelph Street and Normandy Boulevard around 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 18.

As a result of an investigation, a 29-year-old Halton Hills man was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more within two hours.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
