Police charge Halton Hills man, 62, with impaired driving

Police have charged a Halton Hills man with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Georgetown over the long weekend.

Halton Police say on Oct. 11 around 10:48 p.m., officers pulled a vehicle over in the area Dayfoot Drive and Mill Street. 

As a result of its investigation, a 62-year-old Halton Hills man was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more within two hours. 

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
