Exciting news, bird lovers! Halton Hills has soared to new heights by becoming the 14th municipality in Canada to receive bird-friendly certification. 🐦🌿 This is a huge milestone for our community, and now we need your help to choose our official bird!

Get Ready to Vote!
The first round of voting kicks off on Monday, February 17, and runs until Tuesday, April 29. You have the power to make your voice heard by voting online or in person at the Hillsview Active Living Centre (Georgetown or Acton) or the Halton Hills Public Library (Georgetown or Acton).

Meet the Contenders
Our longlist of birds was carefully curated in collaboration with Bird Friendly Halton Hills and the Halton/North Peel Naturalist Club. These feathered friends are all vying for the prestigious title of Halton Hills' official bird.

What's Next?
