HaltonHillsToday, in partnership with the Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS), highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Toothless arrived at the shelter on Nov. 7, 2024. He was born Sept. 30, 2014 in a outdoor colony and had lived in that colony for nine years. He was TNRed (trapped, neutered, returned) when he was old enough.
Toothless was brought in from the colony when it appeared that he was needing medical attention due to dental issues. The Burnhamthorpe Animal Hospital provided the medical help that Toothless needed, including a dental cleaning with some extractions. The bloodwork showed that he's FIV positive and that he would need to stay safe inside going forward.
He was placed in a foster home with one of the vet techs and he enjoyed the company of other cats and being petted. Toothless is truly the sweetest and most thankful senior cat we have had. He has paid the price of living outside for most of his life and now he deserves to enjoy the comforts of a loving indoor home.
Please consider giving Toothless your heart.
