LETTER: Return of Doors Open in Halton Hills a huge success

The community is lucky to have such an abundance of historic buildings and properties, says Limehouse resident

Dear Editor,

Sunny skies were an added bonus for the return of Doors Open to Halton Hills after a five-year absence.

The doors were open at 22 sites located in Acton, Ballinafad, Limehouse, Georgetown and Norval from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 29. Many people from across the province visited these historic places.

Much interest and questions were expressed by those who took part in the tour. We are very fortunate to have such an abundance of buildings and properties, which all contribute to the culture of this community.

Many thanks go to all the residents and volunteers who spent much time and effort in preparing their sites for the visitors.
