A complaint from the public has resulted in a Halton Hills woman being charged with impaired driving.
Around 1:13 p.m. Friday (July 5), Halton Police responded to a citizen-initiated complaint of a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle in the area of Foxtail Court at West Branch Drive in Georgetown.
As a result of its investigation, police charged a 50-year-old Halton HIlls woman with blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.
Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
