Come one, come all because once a year the Halton Hills Public Library throws a party in town called FanFest.

This year’s convention will take place on April 12 and, as in previous years, bring together cosplayers, comic book lovers and more.

Visitors can look forward to superhero storytime, trivia, crafts and playing in virtual reality. Returning as well is Artist’s Alley, a small market where exhibitors will put up their wares for sale.

FanFest is a drop-in event overall, but certain festivities will require registration. Further specifics will be made available in the coming weeks.

Cosplayers are asked to register by April 5.

The gathering will begin at 10 a.m. at the Georgetown library branch, located at 9 Church St.

More information about FanFest can be found on the library’s website.
