Early-morning complaint south of Georgetown leads to impaired charges

A 42-year-old Milton man has been charged with impaired driving.

Halton Regional Police have charged a local driver with impaired following a complaint received early Tuesday morning. 

Responding to the complaint from a citizen, Halton Police stopped a vehicle in the area of Steeles Avenue and Tenth Line around 4:55 a.m.

As a result of its investigation, police have charged a 42-year-old Milton resident with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
