Local firefighters are on scene following a large-scale fire at a business in southern Halton Hills today (Jan. 12.).
The mid-afternoon call at a truck repair facility on Winston Churchill Boulevard, north of Steeles Avenue was responded to by crews from the Halton Hills, Mississauga and Brampton fire departments.
Heavy black smoke was visible for kilometres and triggered a road closure as firefighters battled the blaze involving two buildings at the rear of the property.
On X (formerly Twitter), Brampton Fire Chief Nick Ruller indicated that no injuries were reported.
Halton Hills firefighters remain on scene this evening.
