Jewish communities in Halton not targeted as bomb threats made across Canada

More than 100 Jewish institutions throughout the country were targeted by threats on Wednesday

Halton Police said no Jewish centres in the region reported any threat being made.

More than 100 Jewish institutions across Canada were subjected to bomb threats on Wednesday. 

Halton Police have confirmed that no Jewish communities in the region have received threats of violence. 

Across the country in areas from Montreal to Vancouver, synagogues, community centres, and other Jewish places of gathering received threats of violence. 

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the RCMP is in contact with local law enforcement to investigate.
