It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah (Sadie) Goodlet McCristall (nee Dangelo) on February 20th, 2025.
Sadie was in her 95th year and was born in Toronto on November 22, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Bert and Janet Dangelo and grew up in Brampton before spending the last 70 years of her life in Georgetown. She was the beloved wife of Martin (Marty) who predeceased her in 2006. Loving mother of Lynn Sargent (John) and Calee Jones (Richard). Proud Grandmother of Cristal Sargent (Cris Davila Dominguez), Marcus Sargent (Lauren Parker) and Brent Jones (Amber). Great Grandmother of Owen Christopher and Brooklyn Sadie Jones. Sadie was predeceased by her sister and best friend Jean (Gummerson), and brothers Joe, Matt and Albert. She will be fondly remembered by her many family members and friends.
Sadie was a long-term employee of Nortel. She loved her winters in St Petersburg, Florida. Sadie was well known for wit, her brownies and pizza and volunteering in the community. She spent the last 10 years at the Bennett Centre Long Term Care. The family greatly appreciates the loving care from the dedicated and wonderful staff. Cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
