Halton Regional Police are investigating another attempted break and enter in Acton.
Police say around 8 p.m. Friday (Oct. 18), a person rang the doorbell of a home on Elmore Drive in Acton several times.
When nobody answered, police say the suspect went into the backyard and began using a tool to try to pry a basement window open.
When the resident came to the window, the suspect - dressed in all black with a hoodie - fled the scene.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
