Halton Regional Police are investigating after pieces of brass and copper equipment were stolen this week from a local quarry.
Sometime overnight Monday/Tuesday (Oct. 14/15), police say a suspect or suspects cut the fence and entered the Dufferin Aggregates quarry on Dublin Line. A hole was then cut in a garage on the property to gain access to the equipment, police say.
The value of the stolen material is unknown.
No suspect descriptions are currently available and no arrests have been made yet. The investigation is ongoing.
