A Mississauga driver faces impaired charges following an incident that occurred over the weekend.
Halton Regional Police say on July 3, they responded to a concerned citizen's complaint in the area of 15 Sideroad and Eighth Line in Halton Hills.
As a result of an investigation, Maria Krzywicki, 64, of Mississauga was charged with:
- operation while impaired and
- blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
