A male cyclist has been sent to hospital after he was struck by a vehicle in the rural area this morning (Sept. 15).
Halton Police media relations officer Jeff Dillon said the collision occurred at 10:15 a.m. on Guelph Line between 10 and 15 Sideroad, where a man in his 50s was hit by a car.
Police say the driver remained on scene.
The man suffered non-life threatening injuries, the specifics of which are not currently available.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
