Acton man's cell phone stolen out of his hands

Victim's phone grabbed while talking to two suspects Monday evening

Halton Regional Police are investigating after a cell phone was brazenly stolen Monday evening in Acton.

Police say at approximately 5:15 p.m. Monday (Sept. 16), two males were seen at the corner of the Acton Apartments at 128 Church St. looking at bicycles in a bike rack.

Police say the victim approached the two and spoke to them. During the conversation, police say one of the suspects grabbed the victim’s phone from his hand and both suspects fled the area.

The first suspect is described as male, Black, early to mid-teens, slim build, approximately 4-foot-8, wearing a dark-coloured hoodie. The second suspect is described as male, Black, mid-teens, approximately 5-foot-7, wearing a light-coloured hoodie.
