Four male suspects – including two teenagers – are facing numerous charges following an armed home invasion in Milton Thursday morning (Feb. 20).
Halton Police report that just before 5 a.m. three suspects broke through the front door of a residence in the Clark Boulevard and Thompson Road South area.
Police say they subsequently confronted the family of four, including a young boy, on the second floor and allegedly threatened them with a knife and screwdriver, demanding cash, jewelry and car keys.
Police responded and located the suspects’ Chevrolet Volt parked in front of the home. The suspects attempted to flee the area and struck a police vehicle while doing so. However, the officers were able to safely immobilize the vehicle and arrest the driver.
