Glen Williams man charged with having defective brakes, driving under suspension and more

Charges also include failing to display two plates and operating a vehicle without insurance

A Glen Williams man is facing several charges, including driving while under suspension, after a traffic stop in Guelph-Eramosa Township Wednesday (Feb. 5). 

Wellington County OPP’s traffic unit was conducting a traffic enforcement initiative on Eramosa-Milton Townline when they stopped a vehicle around 1:30 p.m. 

The OPP said as a result of its investigation, a 57-year-old Glen Williams man was charged with having a defective braking system, driving while under suspension, possessing a licence while prohibited, operate a motor vehicle without insurance, fail to display two plates and drive motor vehicle, no current validated permit.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Provincial Offences Court in Guelph at a later date.
