Sweet-smelling suspects sought following Georgetown Shoppers break-in

Halton Police may just have to follow their noses to crack this case.

The local department is investigating a fragrance theft at a Georgetown Shoppers Drug Mart.

Halton Police say around 2:15 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 2), two male and one female suspect smashed the front glass door of the Guelph Street location, entered and went directly to the fragrance section.

According to police, the trio then smashed a display case, stole perfumes and left the store. The fragrances are collectively valued at under $5,000.

No suspect descriptions are currently available, and no arrests have been made yet. The investigation is ongoing.
