Halton Hills red-light runner facing charges for stunt driving, drugs

A Halton Hills man is facing a slew of charges following an incident on Saturday night in Norval.

Halton Police say around 11:40 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Guelph Street after a vehicle ran a red light.

As a result of its investigation, police charged a 30-year-old Halton Hills man with:

  • Possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution under the Cannabis Act
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
  • Stunt driving and failing to stop at a red light under the Highway Traffic Act.
