Two people have been charged in connection with the Feb. 19 fatal shooting at a home on Gibson Crescent in Milton.
According to Halton Regional Police, Milton resident Ali Mian, 22, is facing one count of second degree murder, while Oshawa resident Romario Clarke, 20, is charged with one count of break and enter and one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Both suspects are scheduled to appear in Milton Court tomorrow (Feb. 21, 2023).
Police have not yet confirmed the identity of the victim and say the investigation is ongoing.
Detectives are looking for information on three outstanding suspects who allegedly fled the scene, possibly in a light-coloured Dodge Charger with a sunroof and black wheels.
Police say the incident occurred at about 5 a.m. after a group of suspects approached the home, possibly intent on committing a robbery.
Upon entering the residence, police say they were confronted by an occupant and a number of gunshots were fired within the home. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
