The Halton Regional Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Oakville woman.
Kathleen “Katie” Rand, 20, was last seen on foot on Thursday, Feb. 8, in the area of Cornwall Road and Trafalgar Road in Oakville, police said in a news release.
Rand is described as:
- Female
- White
- Approximately 5’2”, 100-120 lbs.
- Blue shoulder-length wavy hair
- Wearing a blue hooded sweater and black jogging pants
Police said Rand is vulnerable and they are concerned for her well-being.
Anyone with information about Rand or her possible location is asked to contact police through 911 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca.
Police said a person can be reported missing at any time – there is no 24-hour waiting period. If you are concerned for someone’s immediate safety, call 911.
Otherwise, you can report a person as missing to the Halton Regional Police Service by calling the non-emergency number 905-825-4777.
