Midday traffic stop in Georgetown nets impaired charge for Halton Hills woman

A Halton Hills woman has been charged with impaired following a traffic stop Thursday afternoon. 

Halton Police say around 1:40 p.m. (Dec. 12), officers pulled a vehicle over in the area of Mountainview Road South and Resource Road in Georgetown. 

As a result of its investigation, a 29-year-old Halton Hills resident was arrested and charged with operation while impaired, blood alcohol content. 

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
