The Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit has made an arrest in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
It's alleged that a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted during a driving lesson and didn't sustain any physical injuries.
Imran Malik, 45, of Milton was arrested on July 17 and charged with sexual assault. He will appear in a Brampton court at a later date.
According to Peel Police, Malik is not currently employed by a driver education school, but it's believed he was terminated from a similar position in Brampton prior to the alleged incident that led to the charges he now faces.
Police believe there may be more victims and the investigation is on-going.
Anyone who may have been a victim, or anyone with information on this or any similar incident, is asked to contact investigators at the Special Victims Unit at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460.
