Halton Regional Police are investigating after a vehicle parked in a Georgetown driveway had its back window smashed and contents removed.
Police say between 4:40 and 4:50 a.m. on Monday (Nov. 11), a suspect broke the window of a car parked in the area of Danby Road and Mountainview Road South. A handbag, which contained credit cards, was taken.
The damage to the vehicle is estimated at less than $5,000, as is the value of the stolen items.
Police say the suspect was wearing a hooded sweater and jeans, but no further description is currently available.
