Trailer load of shingles stolen from Halton Hills distribution centre

A trailer filled with shingles was stolen from the Rona Distribution Centre early Wednesday morning.

Halton Regional Police are looking for two suspects after a transport trailer filled with roofing shingles was stolen this week. 

Police say around 1:35 a.m. Oct. 2, the lock on an exterior gate was cut at the Rona Distribution Centre on Steeles Avenue East. After gaining entry, police say two suspects stole a transport truck and trailer. 

The transport truck was later located a short distance away, however, the trailer and its contents were not recovered. The trailer is valued at $70,000 while its cargo is worth approximately $41,000. 

The suspects are described as two males wearing dark clothing.
