Police are looking for some hot merchandise after a transport truck and trailer loaded with microwaves were stolen from a Halton Hills yard.
Halton Police say sometime overnight last Thursday/Friday (Jan. 16-17), a suspect or suspects entered the yard on Brownridge Road, in the area of Steeles Avenue and Fifth Line North.
According to police, the truck and trailer were not attached, but it's believed the truck was stolen and then used to remove the trailer.
The microwaves are valued at more than $5,000.
There are no descriptions of the suspect(s) available and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
