Tickets are now available for The Georgetown Hospital Foundation Gala on Nov. 2.

The Georgetown Hospital Foundation (GHF) wants you to save the date for one of its biggest fundraisers of the year.

The foundation will be hosting its 20-24K Gala Saturday, Nov. 2 at Lionhead Golf Club and Conference Centre.

The GHF reports that last year’s event was a huge success, raising nearly $250,000 for equipment at Georgetown Hospital, including a state-of-the-art operating table and three vital sign monitors.

The evening of glitz, glamour and generosity will be hosted by Canadian sports broadcaster Rod Black, with Castle Building Centres serving as the presenting sponsor.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., followed by a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. with music from the The SentiMentals. Dinner and the night’s formal program start at 7 p.m. Layne, The Auctionista will also provide entertainment throughout the evening. The after party with DJ Anthony from Party Cinemas begins at 10 p.m.

Throughout the evening, there will be many ways to support Georgetown Hospital. The Fund-A-Need portion of the gala will raise money to replace hospital stretchers.
