Over $5,000 in jewelry and more stolen during Georgetown South break-in

Police looking for two suspects - one man, one woman - after theft Saturday

Halton Regional Police are investigating after jewelry and other items valued at more than $5,000 were stolen from a Georgetown home Saturday (Aug. 31). 

Police say between 2:30 and 8:45 p.m., two suspects forced open the rear door of a home in the area of Mountainview Road South and Argyll Road and removed items, including jewelry. Nobody was home at the time.

The first suspect is described as male with a thin build, wearing a grey hat, dark coloured T-shirt, dark coloured pants and running shoes. He had a white face covering.

The second suspect is described as female with a medium build, wearing a black and white hat, and dark coloured T-shirt, pants, shoes and face covering.
