Two suspects sought after distraction theft at Georgetown business

Halton Police are looking for two suspects following a distraction theft at a Georgetown business.

Police say around 2:50 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 5), an employee at Signature Rugs in Georgetown Market Place was distracted by one suspect while another removed a small amount of cash from a drawer. 

The first suspect is described as a while male, wearing a black hat, black T-shirt, jeans and flip flops while the second is described as a white female with medium length brown hair tucked into a white ball cap, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, black pants and black flat shoes.
