Burglars in Glen Williams enter homes through second-floor windows

More than $5K in jewelry taken during one incident; police searching for three suspects

Halton Police are looking for a trio of suspects following recent break-ins at two Glen Williams homes. 

Police say three males broke the glass to a second-floor window of a home in the area of Prince and Main streets around 12:40 p.m. last Thursday (Oct. 17).

The resident was home at the time, but there was no confrontation with the suspects. The items taken during this incident have yet to be determined.

While investigating this break-in, a second burglary at a nearby home was discovered. Again, police say the suspects had broken a second-floor window to gain entry. Nobody was home at the time. 

According to police, jewelry with an estimated value of more than $5,000 was taken. 

The suspects are described as follows:

–male, wearing a blue bomber-style jacket, a blue baseball cap, black jeans, black running shoes and a face covering

–male, wearing a blue bomber-style jacket, black baseball cap, dark grey pants, grey shoes and a face covering

–male, wearing a white jacket, black track pants, black running shoes, carrying a black bag. 

Police say the suspects were driving a black SUV.
